Originating from the four corners of the world, our saunas and hammam are all unique experiences for deep relaxation. Try the dry heat of the Finnish and Swedish saunas, the steam bath of the hammam or the best of both worlds in the Russian sauna! Without forgetting the unique experience of the Japanese infrared sauna and the aromatherapy experience in the Aromas of Egypt sauna.
Aromas of Egypt Sauna
Come and relax in this dry sauna to discover the miraculous effects of aromatherapy, while enjoying a magnificent view of the Mille Îles River.
Essential oils are diffused on the hot stones in order to combine the benefits of the sauna with the therapeutic values of the different fragrances.
Temazcal Mayan Sauna
It was during a trip to Mexico that we were captivated by Temazcal, an indigenous invention from Central America that combines the physical benefits of perspiration with spiritual well-being. Among the Mayans, this hut was the site of ceremonies dedicated to purify body and mind.
Our Mayan Sauna seeks to recreate this exceptional experience. The twilight, the heat, as well as projections and traditional music give you the opportunity to stimulate all your senses and invite you to jump out of the present time.
Finnish Sauna
Classic! Before being adopted by the other Nordic countries, the sauna did indeed originate in Finland. Its current form is the result of an ancestral practice, which has endured thanks to the feeling of well-being that its dry and intense heat provides.
While the traditional sauna is a fully enclosed room, our Finnish sauna is distinctive thanks to its large bay windows. Enjoy its many benefits in the greatest comfort: eyes up to the sky.
Viking Sauna
Inspired by the Vikings, this sauna, unique in the world and featuring glass throughout, offers an exceptional view of the Rivière des Mille Îles and invites you to be fully immersed in the woods. Enjoy its restful warmth and then, wake up the warrior in you to take a plunge into the icy water!
Japanese sauna
The Japanese sauna magically emits a diffused and penetrating heat thanks to infrared radiation. Experience this innovative technology in an intimate wooden cabin that faces the outdoors.
The invisible radiation of infratherapy stimulates the tissues and deeply warms the body, while placing less strain on the heart than the traditional sauna. The Japanese sauna is ideal for people who are more sensitive to intense heat.
Scandinavian Barrels
Enjoy a moment of absolute calm in our Scandinavian barrels. Their rounded shapes and small dimensions guarantee a feeling of intimacy that allows you to relax in depth.
The barrel is a dry sauna built of cedar wood. Its cylindrical structure and anteroom help the heat to spread evenly. Sheltered in this cocoon, live the Scandinavian experience up close.
Exfoliation
Located next to the hammam, the exfoliation room is the perfect complement to the hammam: after a steam bath, nothing is better than a fine rain and treatment of salt to regenerate your skin.
With its salt falls, its individual baskets and its permanent water drainage system, the exfoliation room allows you to take care of your body in comfort and utmost cleanliness.
Russian Sauna
While traveling in the vast regions of Russia, we discovered what its inhabitants call banya: it has the peculiarity of being halfway between a dry sauna and a steam bath. The brick stove that heats the room is sprinkled with water, releasing a dry, light steam, and a soothing mist is diffused from the ceiling at regular intervals.
Our Russian sauna allows you to discover the principle of banya, in a revamped style. Combining stone, wood and ceramic, its cold water well and its delicate mist, the Russian Sauna is a unique and thrilling stopover.
Swedish Sauna
Similar to the Finnish sauna, the Swedish sauna is a dry sauna, equipped with large wooden platforms. The practice of sauna is also an ancient tradition in Sweden, where this place is called bastu.
Choose your bench and the location that best suits you to savour a moment of relaxation and silence in our light-filled Swedish sauna, before heading to the cold pool outside and then to one of the lounging areas waiting for you nearby.
Hammam
The benefits of the hammam have been known for centuries: inspired by the Roman thermal baths, the hammam has flourished in many countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
Thanks to its humid steam and warm ambiance, the hammam helps dilate the pores and cleanse the skin, and also relaxes the muscles and decongests the respiratory tract. Relaxation guaranteed.
Thermotherapy
Thermotherapy, which relies on the variation of temperature, has many benefits for the skin, joints, blood circulation, breathing. It also provides a deep sense of well-being, reducing stress, tension and tiredness. To draw the maximum benefit, it is recommended to follow the different steps that make up a complete thermotherapy cycle: a period of intense heat, then a rapid exposure to cold, before enjoying a moment of rest.
Here is a guide to the steps to follow for an ideal thermotherapy session. Allow yourself 2 hours to complete the whole cycle. Feel free to repeat steps 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 twice.
