Spa Le Finlandais (including its various subsidiaries and affiliated companies) offers different websites as well as a mobile application. Your use of these websites and the mobile application (collectively referred to as the “Platforms”) is subject to the following terms and conditions. Your use of the Spa Le Finlandais Platforms constitutes acceptance of these terms.

General Terms and Conditions

Prices displayed on our Platforms are subject to change without notice and may vary depending on the time of year, the day of the week, as well as the time of day. Furthermore, as part of promotional offers, personalized and different prices may be offered to various clients for the same services during the same period.

Spa Le Finlandais reserves the right to correct any pricing or information errors at any time. For your security and to validate transactions, Spa Le Finlandais may require the credit card used to make the purchase online or via the mobile application, as well as a valid photo ID upon your arrival.

Holiday Pricing and Peak Periods (Definitions)

Holiday rates (Weekend pricing) apply to statutory holidays, national and provincial holidays, as well as high-traffic periods surrounding these dates.

  • Winter Holiday Season: Includes the entire period surrounding the end-of-year holidays, typically starting 10 days before Christmas and ending 10 days after Christmas Day.
  • Spring Break: Includes the entire week(s) designated as school breaks by various school boards.
  • Weekdays: For pricing purposes, “Weekdays” are defined as Monday through Thursday, excluding the holiday and peak periods mentioned above.

Reservations, Payments, and Cancellations

Credit Card Required

A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations for access to the thermal experience and for treatments (massages, aesthetics) made via our Platforms (booking site and mobile application) or by telephone.

Payment

The total amount of your reservation will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 24 hours notice: If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please do so more than 24 hours in advance.
  • Less than 24 hours notice: If cancellations are made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time of your spa reservation (for the thermal experience or for a treatment), the total amount of your reservation will be retained and is non-refundable. These cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card registered on file at the time of booking.
  • Modifications: No changes to a reservation (change of date, time, type of treatment) are possible less than 24 hours before the scheduled time of the reservation.

Specific Spa Conditions

  • Age Requirement: The minimum age to access the baths (thermal experience) is 16 years old. To receive an individual massage or an aesthetic treatment, you must be at least 18 years old.
  • Arrival: We suggest you arrive 30 minutes before your treatment appointment time to fill out a health form and prepare peacefully.
  • Attire: Wearing a swimsuit is mandatory in the thermal experience areas. Towels and sandals are mandatory throughout your visit to Spa Le Finlandais.
  • Rentals & Sales: Towels and bathrobes are available for rent at the reception. Sandals and swimsuits are available for sale in our boutique.
  • Lockers: Lockers are available to you free of charge. They are secured with a lock and key (bracelet) provided upon arrival. You must return the bracelet to reception upon departure. It is imperative to leave the locker open when leaving the premises. Spa Le Finlandais is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Food & Drink: Food and beverages from outside are not permitted on the Spa premises.
  • Etiquette: We ask all our visitors to respect the peace and tranquility of other clients, notably by speaking softly and avoiding excessive noise.
  • Digital Devices: The use of mobile phones is tolerated in certain designated areas, provided it is done discreetly. It is strictly forbidden to take photos or videos of other clients without their explicit consent. Telephone conversations and listening to music without headphones are prohibited to preserve the tranquility of the premises.

Gift Certificates (Gift Cards)

Note: The terms “gift certificate” and “gift card” are used interchangeably.

Purchasing and Activation

Gift certificates purchased via our Platforms or in person generally cannot be used on the day of purchase. A minimum period of 24 hours may be necessary for their activation.

Types of Gift Certificates

  1. Monetary gift certificates: Display a specific monetary value.
  2. Gift certificates for specific services: Describe one or more products and services.

Validity

  • Monetary: In accordance with the law, monetary gift certificates do not have an expiration date for their nominal value.
  • Specific Services: Gift certificates for specific services are valid for the service(s) described for a period of one year from the date of purchase. After this period, the gift certificate retains its initial purchase monetary value, which may be applied to any product or service offered by Spa Le Finlandais.

Usage rules

  • You can always use the monetary value of a gift certificate for specific services for other products or services if you wish, even before the one-year period expires.
  • If a gift certificate for specific services is partially used for the indicated service, or if the remaining value is used for other services or products, the balance of the gift certificate will be treated as a monetary value.

Presentation at Time of Visit

  • Physical Gift Cards: The original, physical gift card must be presented at the time of your visit. No copies, photos, or digital versions will be accepted.
  • Electronic Gift Cards: The e-gift card must be presented via its original email or file. A screenshot or copy will not be accepted.

Loyalty Programs & Promotions

“My Loyalty Rewarded” Program

On the day of your visit for a Thermal Experience and/or a treatment at Spa Le Finlandais, you can purchase a gift certificate for a future visit and receive a discount:

  • $10 discount on the purchase of a Thermal Experience gift certificate.
  • $25 discount on the purchase of a massage gift certificate (Valid only for: 60 min. Swedish relaxation, 60 min. deep tissue Swedish, 60 min. therapeutic, or 60 min. Le Finlandais facial).

Condition: The gift certificate must be purchased on the same day as your visit. Other standard gift card terms apply. Discount amounts subject to change without notice.

Black Friday & Cyber Monday Conditions

During designated promotional periods (e.g., Black Friday), special offers are subject to strict conditions:

  • Thermal Experience: The $10 discount applies to thermal experience certificates.
  • Massages: The $25 discount is applicable only to the purchase of gift certificates for the following 60-minute massages:
    • Swedish Massage (Relaxation)
    • Deep Tissue Massage (Pression Forte)
    • Therapeutic Massage
    • Hot Stone Massage (Galets Chauds – 90 min)
  • Restrictions: Non-cashable, non-exchangeable, cannot be combined with other promotions. Not valid for other treatment types or durations.

Third-Party Cards

WaySpa: Spa Le Finlandais is not part of the WaySpa program. WaySpa cards are not accepted.

Intellectual Property & Content Use

The Spa Le Finlandais Platforms (websites and mobile app) are for personal use, information, entertainment, and education.

  • Copyright: All content (trademarks, logos, text, images, designs) is the protected property of Spa Le Finlandais.
  • Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, display, transmit, or distribute the Content in any way, except for downloading one copy for strictly personal, non-commercial use.
  • No License: Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as granting any license or right under any copyright or intellectual property right without written permission.

Contest Rules (General)

Contests organized by Spa Le Finlandais are subject to the following conditions unless otherwise specified:

  1. Eligibility: Open to permanent residents of Quebec who have reached the age of majority. Employees and their immediate families are excluded.
  2. Participation: Official entry forms must be completed. Cookie acceptance may be required.
  3. Prizes: Winners are announced on the website. Prizes are non-cashable, non-exchangeable, and nominative. Prizes must be used within normal operating hours.
  4. Claiming Prizes: Winners will be contacted by email/phone within 5 business days. If unreachable, the prize is forfeited. Winners must sign a declaration and release form.
  5. Publicity: Winners authorize Spa Le Finlandais to use their name, image, and voice for advertising purposes without compensation.
  6. Modifications: Spa Le Finlandais reserves the right to cancel or modify contests or prizes if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
